| The Elders say the men should look at women in a sacred way. The men should never put women down or shame them in any way. When we have problems, we should seek their counsel. We should share with them openly. A woman has intuitive thought. She has access to another system of knowledge that few men develop. She can help us understand. We must treat her in a good way. |
You know this is interesting.......The man I love, he has major relationship issues, that go back to his own insecurities, hurt, anger & bitterness. Although he is able to articulate the "bitterness", he can't seem to get out of the rut and get into healing. So, because he doesn't ask me, I don't usually tell him what it is I "know". There is so much of his distress that I understand, so much similar I have gone through myself.....but he prefers to sit in his cave and brood. I haven't given up, I just let him alone and go about my life. When he reaches for me I am there...otherwise I'm out and about, but always I am with him in thought & heart...and prayers.
