Within minutes of the Senate Judiciary Committee introducing the USA
FREEDOM Act to reform our intelligence agencies, the House Intelligence
Committee countered with the FISA
Transparency and Modernization Act, a fake reform bill geared toward making it easier, not harder, for the NSA to collect data.
And now, after months of "compromise" between the Senate and House to match up these bills, the USA FREEDOM Act has become so watered down that even Mike Rogers, the NSA's No. 1 defender, is calling it a good step!
Any deal between FREEDOM Act and FISA Act backers is one that favors the NSA, not the public.
Please, join us in calling on Congress to reject the FISA Act and this watered-down version of NSA reform, taking a real stand to rein in spy programs and restore Americans' privacy!

PETITION TO CONGRESS: Vote against the FISA Transparency and Modernization Act and demand a return to the original language and power of the USA FREEDOM Act for NSA reform.
