Today we had a great breakthrough for Bala Falls, it was a 6 to 4 win for protecting the falls that allows this Resolution to go forth to the District of Muskoka asking them to protect this beautiful community
and the Assets of the District taxpayers from any harm from this power project.

We often contact our Councillors with complaints , and lets all take the opportunity to write to Linda Barik Spern, Ruth Nishikawa, Sandy Currie, Allan Edwards Phil Harding District Councillor and Donelda Kruckel for voting to protect this sacred public land in Bala.
If you go to http://www.muskokalakes.ca/node/16 you will find contact information.
There are ten Councillors and of course there are also four who voted to keep project rolling and dismissed the threat to the economy of this amazing community. You may want to ask them why .
NOW WE MUST be writing to the District Council on Pine Street in Bracebridge to ensure that the District of Muskoka understands the threat to the economy and infrastructure from this private for profit power project .
There is no doubt that the economy of Bala will be devastated the loss of the falls for the public is ECOCIDE
