About Me

For me it is All About Being of Service & Living the Life of the Give-Away....

Being Mindful of those who are unable to speak for themselves; our Non-Two Legged Relations and the Future Generations.

It's about walking on the Canka Luta Waste Behind the Cannunpa and the ceremonies.

It's about Mindfulness and Respect. It's about Honesty and owning up to my foibles.

Gratitude

Gratitude:

I truly believe that living "An Attitude of Gratitude" as the traditional ancestors did is one of the most important aspects of one's life

It doesn't matter how much we have, it matters if we are thankful for it

I have found, throughout the years, the more I am thankful, the more I have, and the more I am able to share... and the more I share the more I receive, and the more I share.... It is endless

However, it is not an easy part of our life, it requires mindfulness, practice, & patience

This is how I changed my life:

I began keeping a nightly journal. For three (3) years, every night before I went to sleep, I wrote down 3-5 things I was grateful for each day. It didn't matter what type of day I had. Some nights all it was: "Aristophanes, Zeinab (my cats) & chocolate" Other nights it was: "Dinner out, new books, chocolate, art sale...."

Also, verbally giving thanks upon waking (creating a positive mind set for the day), throughout the day, & before going to sleep (downloading positive thoughts before sleep & wiping the slate clean)

Eventually, some time during the 2nd year, my life began to change for the better...

This does not mean that I am a Pollyanna, because I'm not, and I see, know, understand, & unabashedly state the truth of the world & life.

But There Is Something out there in the universe, an energy that can be used as a tool to make our life easier. The ancestors knew that, our elders still know that

So just say: "Thank-you" and say it often
