August 1st makes 11 months that Peggy Peterson has been defending the land/waters at The Fight For Bala: It's Not A Done Deal, 

Save the Bala Falls!! from an unnecessary, unneeded hydro project granted to Swift River Energy under the so called 'Green Energy Act' by the former Liberal government of Ontario. 

If the Municipality of Muskoka Lakes, & the various groups & individuals working to stop this project including but not limited to: the media both local & national, Save the Bala Falls. The Muskoka Lakes Ratepayers Association, Peggy Peterson, Julie Troy Gunton....would actually work together in a harmonious civil, respectful including the 6 local native.Metis communities to protect this beautiful community & those up & down stream, this project would have been stopped long ago...

But folks would sooner bully/give in to bulling, see dollar signs both real & imaginary, (Peggy, Julie & a few others excepted), allow the 140 year old railway bridges to remain un-repaired over which numerous bitumen trains travel daily at high speeds....destroy historic.heritage building built back in the 1800's, etc, etc....

Not to mention the various elected officials & ministries actually doing their jobs as outlined under various Provincial & Federal Acts ....
