Starting in july of 1876 the Lakota were tricked into signing a treaty called sell or starve. 

This treaty would ultimately put my people into reservation, the death of my culture, traditions such as the ghost dance, sweat ceremonies, medicine bags, wearing feathers... 

They pushed christian names on us, made us dress as them, sing their songs, worship their god, etc.... 

Not only this but it was the ultimate cause for depression, suicide, rape, torture, abuse, alcohol... 

Not done yet.... Because of july 1876 treaties my people died of freezing, starvation, lack of water, my ancestors children died of diseases, that they gave the lack of medicine for.... Still not done.... 

Because of this treaty in july, Sitting Bull was murdered, Crazy Horse was murdered, Chief Bigfoot was murdered, and the massacre at Wounded Knee happened, WHERE MY GGG GRANDPA WAS MURDERED.

So before you tell me to learn my history, that I already do (know), dont (tell me to)....

Chief Seattle fought along side of them because HE HAD NO CHOICE!! and for what? 

The invader just went back on their words again...

Joseph Redhorse and others know what I'm saying...

Like Fred Nichols said, "LOVE THE PEOPLE, HATE THE GOVERNMENT".... 

I don't Hate people, I hate the System.
