I completely believe what Kissinger is saying:
The reason is, the men & women who enlist are those that (once enlisted) are not allowed to think for themselves...
They follow orders no matter right or wrong, they are brainwashed mindless drones, unable/unwilling to think for themselves....
Committing unconscionable acts of murder & terrorism against innocent people (which they most likely would not had they not enlisted) , then in turn causes havoc within themselves when the finally become free of their keepers and when out on their own.
In the end of their military time, most are nothing more than mental & emotional shipwrecks left to flounder in the dead pool of society.
