For me it is All About Being of Service & Living the Life of the Give-Away....

Being Mindful of those who are unable to speak for themselves; our Non-Two Legged Relations and the Future Generations.

It's about walking on the Canka Luta Waste Behind the Cannunpa and the ceremonies.

It's about Mindfulness and Respect. It's about Honesty and owning up to my foibles.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall

Today’s Lowdown

Scroll your Lowdown below for Tuesday night’s limited out-and-about options, but there is a spectacle you might notice this afternoon thatLoCO thought you might like to know about.
From Thursday to Sunday, “The Wall that Heals” — a traveling half-sized replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall — will be on display at theBear River Community Center in Loleta displaying the names of 58 Humboldt County residents, among thousands of other, who perished as a result of the United States’ war in Vietnam. There will be an opening ceremony Thursday at 10 a.m.
After leaving Redding this morning, the wall will cross the border into Humboldt today on a truck escorted by an estimated one hundred motorcycle riders. The procession is expected to roll through Eureka between 2 and 3 p.m. today.
