GREAT NEWS FOR BALA MUSKOKA and beautiful Turtle Island.
District t of Muskoka Public Works today deferred a resolution to allow the Bala Falls private power developer to go ahead with road widening of Highway # 169.
It is great because it has to come back again to Public Works and then go to District Council in July !!!!
Incredible stall for all of us and a real breather to the people and businesses in Bala.
Many thanks to District Process and and the Chairs who with such grace and clarity in ensuring people and places are not put at risk for private development.
